1.8 - Tribute Video from Funeral Receptions

We haven't really collected enough thoughts to write, but there are a few of us family members that will have some pots. In the meantime I wanted to post the video that was shown at mom's funeral receptions and was running at the visitation w/o sound. Her cousin, Gail, put it together after a lot of chats with Mom and some pictures. It's touching and I'd highly recommend a Kleenex!

Gail, Conor, and Mark,

I loved seeing this video tonight. I've saved a link to send around to the Troop 91 folks. Gail, it was wonderful to see and hear Cathi, again, talking about her life and gratitude.

She was a jewel that will be missed beyond measure. Thank you for reminding us of this, Gail. I'm sorry I missed meeting you, but I know Cathi's sons are remarkable fellows. She was understandably proud of her family.

Conor and Mark,

Your mom left quite an impression on me. We became friends through scouting and I will forever be grateful for having known her. She was the one that got me to do the Troop's website years ago, so it is most fitting that I post her video on the home page at www.Troop91.org. We had such great memories and really had a great bond.

I am so lucky to have had such a great friend!

P.S. Wonderful video Gail.

Conor and Marc,

Tonight the District paid tribute to your Mom. In a room with tons of tributes, the one to Cathi brought us all to our feet. You have every reason to believe that what your Mom worked so hard on--> will continue forward. Cathi was a brillant light for all of us. We feel darkness without her, but we know she kindled a spark in all of us. We will carry on, and anticipate hearing about the Cathi Maynard Award each year from the District. She lives on in our hearts.
