The weekend off

No salad for me yet. But I do have the weekend off from clinic visits. The ANC was just 500 yesterday and the white cell count dropped a bit. So it's good to have the weekend off.

And y'know, that's about all that's new in my life. I could tell you how far I am in my book, or list the words from it that I've written down to look up later. But y'all have better things to do.

So I might sneak a cookie from the community package. I always have my own package of cookies, and sometimes the one M&D are eating from looks better. But I won't be mall walking yet.

Hey Cathi,
Thanks for checking in. I'm in sunny San Jose, Cal. Had a good flight last night - I knit almost the whole flight. Messed up a little but AM NEVER STARTING THIS OVER AGAIN. I'll drive over to Monterey in an hour or so and catch up to the family. I'll try to send a pic or two later; it's a beautiful area and weather looks good, although it's hard to tell from my limited hotel parking-lot view. Enjoy the clinic-less weekend.

Hello Cathi,
We've caught up with your blog again having been away in Normandy, France for 5 days. It's interesting to read your progress - hope you feel better for your w-end off. "Patience is a virtue"
We thought of you when we crossed the Channel by Portsmouth/Caen as we remember you taking your Dad & Uncle to Normandy.
Love from us both, Brian & Margaret

Hi Cathi
I've been hiking the South Downs this weekend, near the white cliffs we went to on the same Fall trip Mum & Dad have just mentioned. Sunny but oh sooo windy. Autumn has definitely arrived in England.

Large pumpkins have arrived in the shops so I guess I'll be carving out a jack-o-lantern too. And making bucketfuls of pumpkin soup with the discarded innards!

Tasted white chocolate laced with lemon and pepper yesterday!! Actually quite morish.

Keep your spirits up. Huge virtual hugs #2 GOT

Hi Cathi,
Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better!
I have another visualization for you.
I've been taking these vitamins with stem cells in them and the promotional material says that the stem cells are magnetically attracted to the places in the body that need them the most so... I'm thinking that you could imagine them moving at hyper speed to all those places in your system where they can do you the most good.
I'm looking forward to the photo of you with a cute little pixie hair style.
Thinking of you often, Hugs.
