Speedbump

I have been running a low grade fever since Friday afternoon. and sleeping.
Yesterday I spent all day in the hospital outpatient area getting fluids and tests.
I am taking seven days of an antibiotic, starting yesterday.
and sleeping.
so that is why you are not hearing from me. I can barely stay awake long enough to eat.

Some days are hydrants. Some days are dogs. Not the best way to spend the weekend, but better than Haley and Cassel. The are both the wonder kids that have not yet learned to get along with everyone, or make it 10 yards.

All part of getting better.
& I can spell my name... Walt

How's it going today? Feeling a little better? Hate these speedbumps! Don't push it; sleep is good. A little more hunkering down and you'll be back at it.
Can't help but notice: Dr. says do two minutes on the treadmill and you do seven. typical :)

Thinking of you all the time. Hope you are able to get some good well-deserved rest so your body can heal! Speedbumps are okay as long as you take them easy!

Cathi,

You left us such a sweet and kind note the other day. You are a winner, lady, and DON'T YA FORGET IT.

Tonight is the Big 1st kick off night for Scouts. Tom was preparing a huge photo show of last year, and is leaving town for a couple of days tomorrow on business, so he had to come home from work a little early to finish getting the last of it completed and to pack around 4pm today.

We had a fun feature article printed in the KC Star Mag yesterday of the sunday edition. I'll mail you a copy if you'd like or here is a link: http://www.kansascity.com/628/story/1380898.html

Don't know how long it will remain active, but it was a fun notice of our "30th". Tom has been getting phone calls from scouters around the Metro who recognize him via the photo, so we've had lots of fun with that.

Our hearts broke to hear that your beloved dog died a few weeks back. We remember last year following the Big Garage Sale when you kindly spent the night with the dogs in the van to guard our loot. Dogs bring all their best to us in their lives. We mourn them totally when they leave us to venture on.

Bless you Cathi. You are in our thoughts everyday, and we are thinking positive thoughts about you and your family. You have been such a role model for our Troop and our wider community....we treasure you for that. Keep fightin' gal.

Sara and Tom
